Letter from Ben and Sophia

Dear Community,

It is our deepest honor to announce that we will be carrying the torch forward and re-opening the Oystercatcher in June. We understand the importance of this business to your community and promise to be thoughtful and dedicated in our work as the new owners. Together we have a combined 28 years in the restaurant industry as a chef and fine dining server, and we promise to bring our passion and excitement about all things food, wine and hospitality to this storied place.

With a strong commitment to source our food responsibly and care for those we work with, we hope to continue to build on the incredible groundwork that has been laid by Sara and Tyler and those before. We are humbled by their decision to choose us as their successors and are determined to maintain the established standard of excellence at the Oystercatcher. It is our strongest belief that food should not only nourish our bodies and excite our taste buds but honor the land it is grown in and the hands that grow it.

As we wrap ourselves around this root we know to run deep and begin to grow from it, we ask only for your willingness to dine with us and allow us to show you what we can do! Thank you for welcoming us; we are so very excited to meet you all and begin this journey together.
